Prudentio Banegas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Celestino Villamañan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Celestino Villamañan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Telo Amaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's zone, Telo Amaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaniusky Mirueña came out of the goal and Telo Amaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Avendaño came free, but Celestino Villamañan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diablos Rojos's Celestino Villamañan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Diablos Rojos from getting a goal against them. After 37 minutes of play, ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Porfiro Aguileta made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celestino Villamañan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xabel Barga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Garcia Urraca got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Celestino Villamañan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Porfiro Aguileta. In the 44th minute, Gartzi Bonifaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos's Xaime Guillarte got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Avendaño made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Marcos Avendaño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ and the Diablos Rojos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Avendaño to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Durango struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Yaniusky Mirueña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diablos Rojos. Celestino Villamañan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Avendaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Xabel Barga hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Yago Brion sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celestino Villamañan skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Avendaño in the 91st minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Celestino Villamañan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diablos Rojos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
