The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Chap Cobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. German Vozmediano kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 6 minutes, Ongile Arainz made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Henrique Bazan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Henrique Bazan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtzi Megia in the 9th minute of the match. Rocio Camerin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Rocio Camerin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basilio Munet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VERDOLAGA CITY FC reached it. Basilio Munet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loreto Astonzas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes of play, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Blai Ramos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Munet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atlético Municipal's Ongile Arainz got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosalio Padolles kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Urtzi Megia came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Atlético Municipal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtzi Megia couldn't finish the play. Benat Trasloseros hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Rocio Camerin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Atlético Municipal's Basilio Munet. Basilio Munet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Atlético Municipal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VERDOLAGA CITY FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rocio Camerin to make the kick off. If Blai Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atlético Municipal's Basilio Munet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Municipal from getting a goal against them. Bakar Arriano kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Atlético Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Loreto Astonzas came free, but Basilio Munet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loreto Astonzas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basilio Munet came out and tried to block the shot, but Loreto Astonzas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 72nd minute. Henrique Bazan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ongile Arainz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of VERDOLAGA CITY FC booed when Atlético Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosalio Padolles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Munet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocio Camerin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in VERDOLAGA CITY FC's zone, Faustino Villate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Bazan came out of the goal and Faustino Villate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Loreto Astonzas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basilio Munet. Basilio Munet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The Atlético Municipal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching VERDOLAGA CITY FC's performance. The match ended with a win for VERDOLAGA CITY FC.
