Cristian Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 played minutes, OROTINENSE's Mikael Viquez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lore Abajas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in OROTINENSE reached it. OROTINENSE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Teobaldo Abello scored to the left of an out of position Israel Contreras, making the score, 1-0. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for OROTINENSE! In the 12th minute there was a penalty for River CBBA. Felix Abenda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Israel Contreras. 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Israel Contreras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Abaurre. In the 17th match minute, OROTINENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Echeverri to maneuver through the defense. Israel Contreras was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Felix Abenda. In the 19th match minute, OROTINENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Oviedo to maneuver through the defense. River CBBA's Guillermo Abaurre came free and shot a quick shot against goal 20 minutes in the game, fortunately Israel Contreras had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Israel Contreras was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Teobaldo Abello capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricardo Rojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Sol Abaunza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Israel Contreras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Abello in the 32nd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Guillermo Abaurre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Israel Contreras. Guillermo Abaurre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Teobaldo Abello kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Israel Contreras. That made the score 5-1 in the 43 minute of play. Israel Contreras made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Guillermo Abaurre sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Abaurre came free, but Israel Contreras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, River CBBA's Guillermo Abaurre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Contreras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Teobaldo Abello sped through OROTINENSE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Israel Contreras. After a defensive mix-up in OROTINENSE's zone, Felix Abenda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Contreras came out of the goal and Felix Abenda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, River CBBA's Teobaldo Abello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Contreras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. In the 68th minute Teobaldo Abello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Contreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Guillermo Abaurre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OROTINENSE's Israel Contreras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Guillermo Abaurre put it in 9-1 from a short distance just to the right of Israel Contreras. In the 75th minute, Esdras Abeitia made a precise shot to the right of Israel Contreras. OROTINENSE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-1. Israel Contreras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Abaurre in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Abello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Contreras. OROTINENSE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Abello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-1. In the 83rd minute, Felix Abenda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River CBBA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Abaurre in the 87th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Israel Contreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Esdras Abeitia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Israel Contreras was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-1. If Esdras Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rdth minute of the game Guillermo Abaurre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OROTINENSE's Israel Contreras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Guillermo Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Contreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Abaurre in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Israel Contreras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that River CBBA were the better team. River CBBA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
