An unexpectedly hard shot by Martxot Alderete in the 8th minute of play forced Spor Las Huevas's goalkeeper Cebrian Trinidad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominguez Vizcaino's late challenge caught a Fútbol Club Insaar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominguez Vizcaino helped the player get up and apologised. Dominguez Vizcaino hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Spor Las Huevas's Cebrian Trinidad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurino Torneira in the 22nd minute of play. Cebrian Trinidad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urko Herencia, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Weather Escuza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ixona Torrent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fútbol Club Insaar's Weather Escuza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jabier Garavito in the 30th minute of play. Ixona Torrent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Spor Las Huevas's Berbiz Gobantes got a free kick in the 36th minute. The audience held their breath when Leo Monteserin in the 37th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Cebrian Trinidad's left hand side. In the 39th minute, Martxot Alderete left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fútbol Club Insaar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 45 minutes into the match, Spor Las Huevas's goal looked a bit too open when Fraco Tovilleja came free, but Cebrian Trinidad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Weather Escuza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mede Torriba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Jabier Garavito made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Jabier Garavito notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Fútbol Club Insaar's Weather Escuza. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leo Monteserin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fútbol Club Insaar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leo Monteserin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Spor Las Huevas booed when Fútbol Club Insaar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Monteserin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Fútbol Club Insaar's goal looked a bit too open when Jabier Garavito came free, but Weather Escuza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
