In the 9th minute of the match Edwardo Ruete shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zabal Bucaran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasto Tella to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Ereinotz Lebon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vidal Cantabrana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Zabal Bucaran made a huge save. In the 20th match minute, RAMBO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbasa Elberdin to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, Vidal Cantabrana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Zabal Bucaran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Vidal Cantabrana notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran. Zabal Bucaran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute of the match Godofredo Pacios shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillen Mijangos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Urbasa Elberdin fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RAMBO FC's protests and gave Urbasa Elberdin a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Urbasa Elberdin. Edwardo Ruete took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zabal Bucaran. RAMBO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 47 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Urbasa Elberdin. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Universitario's Erasto Tella got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zabal Bucaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidal Cantabrana in the 54th minute of the match. Erasto Tella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zabal Bucaran having to make a save. Andy Laime hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, Edwardo Ruete was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Universitario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RAMBO FC the free kick. Erasto Tella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Zabal Bucaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Karlo Gavilanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Universitario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karlo Gavilanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zabal Bucaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidal Cantabrana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillen Mijangos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Laime, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute Mane Pobes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Mijangos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Universitario's Argi Rionda in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RAMBO FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Belarmo Campelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. RAMBO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Belarmo Campelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillen Mijangos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Universitario had won after a very even match.
