The Valle Saron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calvet Babia should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monitor Huáscar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valle Saron the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Monitor Huáscar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rey Villarragut in the 12th minute of play forced Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Ferman Basabe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Varez. In the 17th minute of the match, Rey Villarragut tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferman Basabe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ferman Basabe made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Maties Alais sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Valle Saron's Maties Alais got a free kick in the 25th minute. Calvet Babia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bidari Ansola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garci Andueco kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal. Bidari Ansola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Valle Saron's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Konstantinos Rivadeneyra scored to the left of an out of position Calvet Babia, making the score, 1-2. In the 80th match minute, Valle Saron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Godos to maneuver through the defense. Konstantinos Rivadeneyra scored 1-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Calvet Babia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado's late challenge caught a Valle Saron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
