The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chesus Abecia to strike the kick off in the second half. Chesus Abecia in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernando Collantes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Chesus Abecia sped through Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernando Collantes. Fernando Collantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internacional. The Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Internacional were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
