In the 17th minute, Christobal Riazos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frantxizko Millares in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's corner Frantxizko Millares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raúl García quite easily take care of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Humberto Madariaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Collantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Humberto Madariaga fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Kuskatan C.F.'s protests and gave Humberto Madariaga a yellow card for diving instead. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Raúl García played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christobal Riazos in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Lonzo Trincado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's supporters rose to their feet, but Lonzo Trincado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raúl García breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 98 minutes, Frantxizko Millares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frantxizko Millares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Real Kuskatan C.F. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan throughout the match.
