If Locaio Jerez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vimaro Buerga made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Reinaldo Osorio sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Torrijos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeraldo Nieto in the 26th minute of the match. Manuel Torrijos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Locaio Jerez went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Manuel Torrijos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Limia in the 33rd minute of play. Reinaldo Osorio charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Osorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manuel Torrijos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Locaio Jerez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Torrijos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeraldo Nieto in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeraldo Nieto in the 46th minute of play forced GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goalkeeper Manuel Torrijos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Locaio Jerez to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Moisés Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vimaro Buerga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeraldo Nieto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Torrijos. That made the score 1-2 in the 61 minute of play. If Locaio Jerez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Cresencio Felpeto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Made in Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Made in Paraguay getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cresencio Felpeto hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Moisés Arias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vimaro Buerga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. reached it. Manuel Torrijos made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Fulgencio Limia sent off a good shot on target. Made in Paraguay's Vimaro Buerga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Osorio in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Manuel Torrijos got control of the ball when Locaio Jerez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Made in Paraguay played a much better game than GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. and deserved their victory. The GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
