Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Ocampo in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilazki Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ilazki Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirino Smith in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pio Zarzosa in the 8th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalkeeper Johnny Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jack Ocampo sped through AlmaToran's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ilazki Miranda. In the 22nd minute, Pio Colmenarejo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Johnny Reyes. The goal made the score 1-1. Martín Casagrande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pio Colmenarejo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Johnny Reyes came out and tried to block the shot, but Pio Colmenarejo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 28th minute. Jack Ocampo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilazki Miranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Martín Casagrande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirino Smith in the 39th minute of play forced AlmaToran's goalkeeper Ilazki Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pio Colmenarejo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Johnny Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Berga in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 played minutes AlmaToran got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Berga. Iván Barraza hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Jack Ocampo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Lea Papá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Jack Ocampo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Ilazki Miranda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 69th match minute, Club Atlético Lea Papá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Segovia to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Martín Casagrande seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Martín Casagrande the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atlético Lea Papá protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Martín Casagrande had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Martín Casagrande got a free kick in the 78th minute. Paulo Arraña blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnny Reyes having to make a save. A collision led to Club Atlético Lea Papá getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jack Ocampo hit a great ball. The supporters of AlmaToran booed when Club Atlético Lea Papá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iván Barraza didn't get a good kick on the ball. AlmaToran's Pio Zarzosa got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
