Spectators: 178 (Terracing: 134, Seating: 41, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dino Lereira started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Regis Rios during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes EBK got a freekick which was hit by Regis Rios. 7 minutes into the match, Manfred Ugalde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iban Lalo. EBK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfred Ugalde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Montel Calleja put in a rough tackle. In the 10th minute, one of EBK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for EBK. EBK:s Iban Lalo showed great skill when he stopped Manfred Ugalde:s penalty. 16 minutes into the match, EBK's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Ugalde came free, but Iban Lalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, EBK's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Villafranca came free, but Iban Lalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iban Lalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny Villafranca, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Manfred Ugalde might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iban Lalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manfred Ugalde ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute, Manfred Ugalde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iban Lalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Manfred Ugalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iban Lalo having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, EBK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Satordi Persol to maneuver through the defense. Manfred Ugalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the game, Manfred Ugalde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Iban Lalo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manfred Ugalde made a kick off. Manfred Ugalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iban Lalo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonny Villafranca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iban Lalo. That made the score 0-4 in the 55 minute of play. Manfred Ugalde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Iban Lalo made a huge save. A hard shot 69 in the game by Manfred Ugalde from a close distance when the talented Iban Lalo managed to make a qualified save. EBK's players were relieved. In the 71st minute, Manfred Ugalde made a precise shot to the right of Iban Lalo. EBK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Regis Rios hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Francisco Calvo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Reyes Blanquel shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The CS La Libertad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CS La Libertad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
