Bernebe Abendano hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Julio Villacorta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lando Abalos kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Shawn Cruz came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Leyendas's Zarbonin Abad. But to his dismay, Zarbonin Abad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Niolaao Abendano charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niolaao Abendano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 16 minutes into the game, Ivan Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fortun Abadia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute, Ivan Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fortun Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortun Abadia having to interfere. A collision led to Real Madrid de Guatemala getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Emiliano Sosa hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Enrico Abar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33 played minutes Real Madrid de Guatemala got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Sosa. 37 minutes into the match, Leyendas's goalkeeper Fortun Abadia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Jimenez. After some careless play in the Leyendas defense, Ivan Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fortun Abadia. The Leyendas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fortun Abadia should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Leyendas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Madrid de Guatemala:s goal.

In the 58th minute Alberto Jimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortun Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leyendas's Lando Abalos got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Rolando Ortiz was substituted for Ivan Ramos. Real Madrid de Guatemala made a substitution. Miguel Castillo replaced Primitivo Ruiz. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Enrique Padilla was substituted for Manuel Flores. The supporters of Real Madrid de Guatemala booed when Leyendas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lando Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Bernebe Abendano threw the ball into play from the sideline. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Enrique Padilla quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Enrique Padilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Ortiz in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortun Abadia saved Leyendas from getting behind. Fortun Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Ortiz in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Leyendas getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Enrico Abar hit a great ball. Fortun Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Ortiz in the 81st minute of the match. Fortun Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the Leyendas defense, Rolando Ortiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fortun Abadia. The Leyendas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fortun Abadia should have stopped the shot. After 89 played minutes Leyendas got a freekick which was hit by Niolaao Abendano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Ortiz in the 91st minute of play forced Leyendas's goalkeeper Fortun Abadia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Julio Villacorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortun Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Rolando Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fortun Abadia. Leyendas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolando Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1.
