Claretiano FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. GuateFortín's German Montoya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Juan Manuel Martínez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mantzio Porlier was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Mantzio Porlier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Alvarez in the 14th minute of the match. Juan Manuel Martínez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mantzio Porlier having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Jaime Alvarez got a free kick in the 27th minute. 33 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Dantae Prat came free, but German Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Juan Manuel Martínez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Pellegrino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hodei Espindola got free with German Montoya in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. German Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Ibaute in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dantae Prat made a kick off. Kaiet Rivera hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Claretiano FC's Mantzio Porlier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Claretiano FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Claretiano FC's Mantzio Porlier got control of the ball when Jaime Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Vincent Ibaute left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Claretiano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. GuateFortín made a substitution. Christian Del Carmen replaced Félix Santana. A collision led to Claretiano FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Cristian Borbolla hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Manuel Martínez in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mantzio Porlier saved Claretiano FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Elias Talia got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 78 played minutes Claretiano FC got a freekick which was hit by Hodei Espindola. In the 80th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Escobar to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute of the match Vincent Ibaute shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but German Montoya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dantae Prat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Montoya having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Vincent Ibaute managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claretiano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Ibaute was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Montoya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Mora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mantzio Porlier having to interfere. GuateFortín's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
