The HORTALEZA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anchel Ferrer should have stopped the shot. Eutropio Toxeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Zafrilla in the 7th minute. Anchel Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Sauca in the 8th minute of the match. In the 15th play minute Ignacio Zafrilla came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eutropio Toxeiro. 1-1. Eutropio Toxeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Zafrilla in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Riemannian's Hector-Luis Baeza got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 43 played minutes Riemannian got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Macho. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Zafrilla made a kick off. Prospero Solana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Anchel Ferrer made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Arturo Font got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Vagrande kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Solana in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anchel Ferrer saved HORTALEZA FC from getting behind. Hector-Luis Baeza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anchel Ferrer having to interfere. With a little luck, HORTALEZA FC's Anchel Ferrer got control of the ball when Hector-Luis Baeza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anchel Ferrer made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Prospero Solana sent off a good shot on target. Prospero Solana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anchel Ferrer came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Riemannian's Prospero Solana. But to his dismay, Prospero Solana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Solana got free with Anchel Ferrer in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Prospero Solana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anchel Ferrer. HORTALEZA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Solana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Riemannian walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
