Luis-Miguel Jubera, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Salud y República booed when ATLETAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chus Bargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Salud y República was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Justo to maneuver through the defense. Alvino Galnares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriol De Toro in the 22nd minute of play. Oriol De Toro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alvino Galnares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Andoitz Talavera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salud y República's supporters rose to their feet, but Andoitz Talavera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iago Palomares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pau Cienfuegos kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of ATLETAS FC booed when Salud y República was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osoro Raya didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Salud y República's goal looked a bit too open when Oriol De Toro came free, but Alvino Galnares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Salud y República's Luis-Miguel Jubera got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 41st minute Chus Bargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvino Galnares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Osoro Raya came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Salud y República fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osoro Raya couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Oriol De Toro made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes ATLETAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Oriol De Toro. After 59 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Juan Mudarra. Oriol De Toro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Chus Bargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Salud y República's Juan Mudarra got a free kick in the 77th minute. Alvino Galnares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oriol De Toro in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Delmar Santander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATLETAS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salud y República the free kick. In the 84th minute Chus Bargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvino Galnares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Aladino Cayuela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Oriol De Toro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvino Galnares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The ATLETAS FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
