Xuoco Urquijo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 21stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Gilabert Alonso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 25th minute, Cheche Vacas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilio Morera got free with Gilabert Alonso in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juvenal Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Jurado, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Galo Navas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Juvenal Ortiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the match, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goalkeeper Gilabert Alonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilio Morera. Xuoco Urquijo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gilabert Alonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Mora CAT. After the first half Racing Rocafort C.F. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Jurado to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the game, Salbatore Armada landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oriche Negro during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Racing Rocafort C.F. made a substitution. Florinio Martínez replaced Salbatore Armada. Oriche Negro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Gilabert Alonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilio Morera in the 76th minute of the match. When Rosalio Urruti fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Rocafort C.F.'s protests and gave Rosalio Urruti a yellow card for diving instead. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Gilabert Alonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilio Morera in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Luis-Alfredo Esperta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilabert Alonso. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis-Alfredo Esperta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Araoz Verdeja kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilio Morera in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilabert Alonso saved Racing Rocafort C.F. from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Atilio Morera came free, but Gilabert Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Racing Rocafort C.F. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Dabi Leseduarte hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Racing Rocafort C.F. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
