Sperides's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aysouraguán the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Sperides was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxeberri Jimenez to maneuver through the defense. When Niceto Ecija fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sperides's protests and gave Niceto Ecija a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Sperides was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Ecija to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Roig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Baldemer Sevilla made a huge save. If Aurelio Roig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aurelio Roig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Baldemer Sevilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Etxeberri Jimenez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 32 minutes had been played. Aurelio Roig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Baldemer Sevilla made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Roig in the 39th minute of play forced Aysouraguán's goalkeeper Baldemer Sevilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Roig was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Roig in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldemer Sevilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 52 minutes, Xulian Barberá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sperides's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xulian Barberá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aurelio Roig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Baldemer Sevilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldemer Sevilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Roig in the 61st minute of play. Baldemer Sevilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Roig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dabi Casals fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sperides's protests and gave Dabi Casals a yellow card for diving instead. Niceto Ecija hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Aysouraguán's Seve Higuera got a free kick in the 75th minute. A hard shot 79 in the game by Seve Higuera from a close distance when the talented Fabio Velasco managed to make a qualified save. Sperides's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seve Higuera in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 minutes, Teo Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aysouraguán and the Sperides players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Aysouraguán got a freekick which was hit by Teo Montes. Hechter Cabrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sperides's Xulian Barberá got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sperides were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
