Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Romani came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by AGT Team's Mustafá Maldonado. But to his dismay, Mustafá Maldonado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Hitzeder Palomar managed to work through AGT Team's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Hitzeder Palomar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Fermín Aceves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indalecio Morcego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafá Maldonado in the 16th minute of play forced Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Leonardo Romani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes, Lazaro Aizpurua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AGT Team and the Club Deportivo O IRIXO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes AGT Team got a freekick which was hit by Lazaro Aizpurua. In the 22ndth minute of the game Mustafá Maldonado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Leonardo Romani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Indalecio Morcego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermín Aceves having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafá Maldonado in the 26th minute of play forced Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Leonardo Romani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Romani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafá Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With 30 minutes on the clock, Lander Solana commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Deportivo O IRIXO! Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Leonardo Romani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafá Maldonado in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Antero Vadillos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fermín Aceves. The goal made the score 1-1. Antero Vadillos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Leonardo Romani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafá Maldonado in the 45th minute of play. Fermín Aceves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antero Vadillos, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mustafá Maldonado made the kick off in the second half. Fermín Aceves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antero Vadillos went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 54 played minutes Club Deportivo O IRIXO got a freekick which was hit by Indalecio Morcego. A hard shot by Lazaro Aizpurua from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Leonardo Romani's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Fermín Aceves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antero Vadillos in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Hitzeder Palomar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fermín Aceves was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Tulio Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antero Vadillos in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fermín Aceves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Leonardo Romani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo O IRIXO from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute, Antero Vadillos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fermín Aceves was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Pello Cameno's late challenge caught a AGT Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pello Cameno helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Club Deportivo O IRIXO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pello Cameno to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Gómez might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Romani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Gómez ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonardo Romani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafá Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 80th play minutes Tulio Barbosa shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Leonardo Romani and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Indalecio Morcego in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fermín Aceves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by AGT Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Macerio Sarro was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportivo O IRIXO's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Hitzeder Palomar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's supporters rose to their feet, but Hitzeder Palomar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermín Aceves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Romani made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Tulio Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute Mustafá Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Romani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the AGT Team players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Deportivo O IRIXO.
