The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Rosario got free with Tome Bencoiechea in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute of the match, César Nafría tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tome Bencoiechea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 13 minutes into the match, Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper Tome Bencoiechea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by César Nafría. 18 minutes into the match, Sobrecastell UD's goal looked a bit too open when Manolito Flores came free, but Tome Bencoiechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes in the game, César Nafría fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tome Bencoiechea having to interfere. Sobrecastell UD's Tome Bencoiechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolito Flores in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper Tome Bencoiechea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Rosario. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Manolito Flores was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If César Nafría had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sobrecastell UD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when César Nafría scored to the left of an out of position Tome Bencoiechea, making the score, 2-0. With 30 minutes on the clock, Santiago Cabezas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 31st match minute, Sobrecastell UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Cabezas to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goalkeeper Ramón Quiroga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute Rafael Carreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tome Bencoiechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sobrecastell UD's Gilberto Bodelon got a free kick in the 37th minute. Rafael Carreira took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tome Bencoiechea. Tome Bencoiechea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a little luck, Sobrecastell UD's Tome Bencoiechea got control of the ball when Mateo Rosario tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match, César Nafría tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tome Bencoiechea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manolito Flores stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Rafael Carreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tome Bencoiechea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 58th minute César Nafría shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tome Bencoiechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Joachim Dobale notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Sobrecastell UD's Tome Bencoiechea. Tome Bencoiechea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tome Bencoiechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Nafría, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 64 minutes into the game, Gilberto Bodelon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sobrecastell UD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA the free kick. Tome Bencoiechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Dobale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tome Bencoiechea came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Rafael Carreira. But to his dismay, Rafael Carreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Tome Bencoiechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Nafría in the 73rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Sobrecastell UD's goal looked a bit too open when Xurde Solana came free, but Tome Bencoiechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tome Bencoiechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Carreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
