The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Quinton Pujol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huly Barberá in the 12th minute of play. Quinton Pujol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huly Barberá, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Anastasio Dominguez could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Quinton Pujol however easily saved by the left post. In the 19th minute Huly Barberá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinton Pujol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quinton Pujol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Huly Barberá's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Los Colegas del Barrio defense, Anastasio Dominguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quinton Pujol. The Los Colegas del Barrio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quinton Pujol should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Los Colegas del Barrio's Amuruza Echavarri got a free kick in the 35th minute. A collision led to Los Colegas del Barrio getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Xoan Vallejo hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Huly Barberá reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Quinton Pujol. The goal made the score 3-0. Quinton Pujol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huly Barberá in the 44th minute of the match. Kemen Flores hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute of the match Alfredo Cameno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quinton Pujol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arbas Sacristán to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Huly Barberá in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quinton Pujol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xoan Vallejo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Los Colegas del Barrio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kemen Flores to maneuver through the defense. Quinton Pujol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huly Barberá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guter Puig in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Los Colegas del Barrio's Kemen Flores got a free kick in the 64th minute. Huly Barberá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinton Pujol having to interfere. Huly Barberá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Los Colegas del Barrio's Arbas Sacristán got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guter Puig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ciro Martinez made a huge save. In the 89th minute of the match, Arbas Sacristán tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciro Martinez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Atlético Ourense's Ciro Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arbas Sacristán in the 92nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Los Colegas del Barrio's Ciro Martinez threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arbas Sacristán, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Atlético Ourense were victorious despite being under pressure from Los Colegas del Barrio for much of the match.
