The supporters of ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO booed when Ciruel Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Villanueva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Ciruel Academy's Velasco Vives nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xabel Beloki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Xabel Beloki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velasco Vives in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Ciruel Academy getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Blasi Valcarcel hit a great ball. Claudio Diaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tabb Barral having to make a save. After 14 minutes, Yiyo Jaen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciruel Academy and the ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ciruel Academy getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Yiyo Jaen hit a great ball. Llorian Cardeñosa kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomé Sabina came free, but Xabel Beloki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Bartolomé Sabina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xabel Beloki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Ciruel Academy got a freekick which was hit by Yiyo Jaen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velasco Vives in the 25th minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Xabel Beloki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Velasco Vives shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xabel Beloki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yiyo Jaen kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Blasi Valcarcel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xabel Beloki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Xabel Beloki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yiyo Jaen in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Velasco Vives made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Xabel Beloki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Xabel Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomé Sabina in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Velasco Vives left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciruel Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hanni Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Xabel Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomé Sabina in the 53rd minute of the match. A hard shot 56 in the game by Velasco Vives from a close distance when the talented Xabel Beloki managed to make a qualified save. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's players were relieved. Hanni Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Perico Rojas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Tabb Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes Bartolomé Sabina could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-4 into the left cross. Xabel Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomé Sabina in the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ciruel Academy's Perico Rojas got a free kick in the 69th minute. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO made a substitution. Rafa Llorca replaced Claudio Diaz. A collision led to Ciruel Academy getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Perico Rojas hit a great ball. In the 71st match minute, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burni Zapico to maneuver through the defense. Xabel Beloki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomé Sabina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorencio Bastida to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes, Ciruel Academy's Rafael Villanueva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xabel Beloki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ciruel Academy reached it. After a rather tough play, Ciruel Academy's Rafael Villanueva got a free kick in the 77th minute. Xabel Beloki came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciruel Academy's Bartolomé Sabina. But to his dismay, Bartolomé Sabina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Xabel Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomé Sabina in the 90th minute of the match. If Velasco Vives had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ciruel Academy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
