The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Quexal Harroyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sindo Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 7th match minute, SISTRELLS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Puyol to maneuver through the defense. If Carlitos Verges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute, Sinforiano Zapatero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Bernard Jaen in the 17th minute really tested Quexal Harroyo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some careless play in the ALPUJARRAS LIBRE defense, Danilo Vera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Neron Gibert. The ALPUJARRAS LIBRE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Neron Gibert should have stopped the shot. A collision led to ALPUJARRAS LIBRE getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Antxoka Abancens hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes, SISTRELLS's Elvis Salgado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Neron Gibert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SISTRELLS reached it. The supporters of SISTRELLS booed when ALPUJARRAS LIBRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arbidel Nadal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Danilo Vera managed to get in a good position for a shot. SISTRELLS's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Vera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neron Gibert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Vera to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Alacuart to maneuver through the defense. Iyan Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Arbidel Nadal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quexal Harroyo. SISTRELLS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arbidel Nadal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE made a substitution. García Salgado replaced Arbidel Nadal. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Curro Moreno was substituted for Nikola Alcalde. Sindo Fernandez scored 2-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quexal Harroyo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, SISTRELLS's Danilo Vera got a free kick in the 75th minute. Curro Huarte took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quexal Harroyo. Quexal Harroyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 79th match minute, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Curro Moreno to maneuver through the defense. SISTRELLS's Maximino Casta got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 minutes, Danilo Vera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SISTRELLS and the ALPUJARRAS LIBRE players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SISTRELLS getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Danilo Vera hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the game, Sindo Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Quexal Harroyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sindo Fernandez in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quexal Harroyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The ALPUJARRAS LIBRE fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Curro Huarte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SISTRELLS's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ALPUJARRAS LIBRE had won, even though SISTRELLS had held more of the ball.
