A collision led to PERSPOLIS getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Gaston Delgado hit a great ball. Rafael Mayol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Ucero having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, SIMvergüenzas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Izaguirre to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Bero Freire came free, but Manolo Ucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bero Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gaston Delgado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. Gaston Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Manolo Ucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Mayol in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Bero Freire notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of PERSPOLIS's Manolo Ucero. Manolo Ucero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastián Adán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Ucero having to interfere. Bero Freire scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manolo Ucero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When SIMvergüenzas's Bero Freire in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PERSPOLIS's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of SIMvergüenzas booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xuaco Otero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Jeremias Montero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manolo Ucero skillfully saved the ball. With his leg Torcuato Garcia managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when PERSPOLIS's Jaizki Lacorte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Xuaco Oteros short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Torcuato Garcia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bero Freire took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manolo Ucero. Manolo Ucero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaizki Lacorte made a kick off. The long shot by Llanos Durango in the 54th minute really tested Manolo Ucero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Manolo Ucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bero Freire in the 55th minute of play. Manolo Ucero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bero Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 60 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Benat Castelao. If Bero Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, SIMvergüenzas's Bero Freire ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manolo Ucero. Manolo Ucero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Jaizki Lacorte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Torcuato Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bero Freire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manolo Ucero was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. A collision led to PERSPOLIS getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Orlo Verdu hit a great ball. In the 76th minute of the match Llanos Durango shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manolo Ucero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Manolo Ucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bero Freire in the 79th minute of play. With his leg Manolo Ucero managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when SIMvergüenzas's Bero Freire fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Manolo Ucero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bero Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Bero Freire who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Manolo Ucero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bero Freire's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Manolo Ucero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 97th minute, Caetano Izaguirre had to leave the field with a concussion. Gentza Harroyo got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 99th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gentza Harroyo to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded SIMvergüenzas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PERSPOLIS.
