Dei Balcells was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolomé Correa couldn't finish the play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mustafá Pabon to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Junta De Los Rios CF defense, Dei Balcells kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apal Roig. The Junta De Los Rios CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apal Roig should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Dennis Bergkamp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Apal Roig. Apal Roig yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. When Mustafá Pabon fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Junta De Los Rios CF's protests and gave Mustafá Pabon a yellow card for diving instead. Bartolomé Correa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Apal Roig made a huge save. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
