The audience thought a goal was coming when Roderick Booy got free with Jan Reints in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goalkeeper Jan Reints had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricky Boezem. Jan Reints made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ricky Boezem sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of SCs StarS booed when FC Kirchroa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Werner didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, FC Kirchroa's Frits Bos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Reints made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Frits Bos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan Reints came out and tried to block the shot, but Frits Bos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. Rinus Middeljans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Job Wilhelm in the 37th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Arnout Schokkenbroek put in a rough tackle. Roderick Booys short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Jan Reints to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52 minutes of play, FC Kirchroa's Roderick Booy made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Reints was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roderick Booy struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jan Reints didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kirchroa. 68 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Roderick Booy came free, but Jan Reints reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricky Boezem kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Job Wilhelm came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SCs StarS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Job Wilhelm couldn't finish the play. Stephan Hoogland succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1.
