The supporters of SCs StarS booed when No Shit!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Vondel didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Euving in the 12th minute of play forced No Shit!!'s goalkeeper Teo Bakker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Bakker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Euving in the 16th minute. A collision led to No Shit!! getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Victor Vondel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinus Bouwman in the 25th minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Roel Sandbergen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 27 in the game by Erik Euving from a close distance when the talented Teo Bakker managed to make a qualified save. No Shit!!'s players were relieved. When Rudi Planting fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored No Shit!!'s protests and gave Rudi Planting a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, No Shit!!'s Rudi Planting got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Marinus Bouwman came free, but Roel Sandbergen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Bakker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Euving in the 32nd minute of the match. Roel Sandbergen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinus Bouwman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Marinus Bouwman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Roel Sandbergen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexander Dam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Bakker having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, No Shit!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jelmer Kluivert to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Erik Euving had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teo Bakker. No Shit!!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Euving was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marinus Bouwman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alexander Dam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephan Hoogland was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes SCs StarS got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Hoogland. 59 minutes into the match, No Shit!!'s Patrick Bernard broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 60th minute, No Shit!!'s Marinus Bouwman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Roel Sandbergen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marinus Bouwman in the 70th minute. If Alexander Dam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of SCs StarS booed when No Shit!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudi Planting didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roel Sandbergen made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Marinus Bouwman sent off a good shot on target. The No Shit!! supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing No Shit!! would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
