Fc Benefica's Lukas Scheer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Numan in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Boca Gregorian Juniors's Bas Holst got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute of the match Bjorn Mos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Wilhelm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mark Wilhelm was a little too slow when Theo Blikman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 16th minute, Theo Numan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Gregorian Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Diderik Fellinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Fc Benefica getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Luuk Ridder hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Benefica's zone, Bas Holst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukas Scheer came out of the goal and Bas Holst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jeroen Okkes fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Gregorian Juniors's protests and gave Jeroen Okkes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Boca Gregorian Juniors getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jeroen Okkes hit a great ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Theo Blikman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Benefica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theo Blikman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Theo Blikman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mark Wilhelm. Theo Blikman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bernard Baalman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Willem Nijemanting got free with Lukas Scheer in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boca Gregorian Juniors's Mark Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Blikman in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes in the game Jelte Boekholt did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Serge Lange. After some careless play in the Boca Gregorian Juniors defense, Nathan Zegers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Wilhelm. The Boca Gregorian Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Wilhelm should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Boca Gregorian Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Serge Lange came free, but Mark Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serge Lange blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Wilhelm having to make a save. 86 minutes into the match, Luuk Ridder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mark Wilhelm. Boca Gregorian Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luuk Ridder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After a rather tough play, Boca Gregorian Juniors's Kees Zuiverloon got a free kick in the 89th minute. Bjorn Mos, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Fc Benefica getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Bjorn Mos hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fc Benefica fully deserved thier win.
