An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Dirks in the 21st minute of play forced Boca Gregorian Juniors's goalkeeper Vincent Bos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andy Zoetmulder in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Bos saved Boca Gregorian Juniors from getting behind. The Heineken Youths manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Boca Gregorian Juniors to win.
