In the 7th minute, Henk Zaagman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zijdewind SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Mijdrecht Maffia defense, Henk-Jan Slot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Hebels. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Hebels should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Henk Zaagman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zijdewind SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henk Zaagman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Hebels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Mijdrecht Maffia getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Douwe van den Bergh hit a great ball. Henk-Jan Slot struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Sven Hebels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zijdewind SC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Zaagman in the 17th minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Sven Hebels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordi van Dartel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Zaagman came free, but Sven Hebels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Lembeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerrit van der Weerden in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Twan Zoolingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Lembeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudi den Hartog hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jens Spoel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henry Lembeck. Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Dekens came free, but Sven Hebels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Zijdewind SC's Ferdi Dekens made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Hebels was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerard Kok charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerard Kok the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Dekens in the 47th minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Sven Hebels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Toni Stühling made the kick off in the second half. When Henk-Jan Slot fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zijdewind SC's protests and gave Henk-Jan Slot a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Henk-Jan Slot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Douwe van den Bergh made a precise shot to the right of Henry Lembeck. Zijdewind SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Ferdi Dekens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sven Hebels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goal looked a bit too open when Henk-Jan Slot came free, but Sven Hebels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Mijdrecht Maffia's Toni Stühling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henry Lembeck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 68 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit van der Weerden came free, but Henry Lembeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melvin Woering's late challenge caught a Mijdrecht Maffia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melvin Woering helped the player get up and apologised. Melvin Woering hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gerrit van der Weerden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's Gerard Kok got a free kick in the 74th minute. Sven Hebels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Gulpen in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Zijdewind SC booed when Mijdrecht Maffia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Spoel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Hebels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Zaagman in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Zijdewind SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Kok to maneuver through the defense. Zijdewind SC's Henry Lembeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Stühling in the 91st minute of play. Mijdrecht Maffia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zijdewind SC for a fine match.
