Dick van der Stoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douwe van den Bergh in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fargo SC's Marco Oosterman got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute Marick van Fessum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick van der Stoel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Donald Oevermans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mijdrecht Maffia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fargo SC the free kick. The supporters of Fargo SC booed when Mijdrecht Maffia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donald Oevermans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, Fargo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitrie Rolink to maneuver through the defense. Mijdrecht Maffia's Douwe van den Bergh came free and shot a quick shot against goal 22 minutes in the game, fortunately Dick van der Stoel had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 27th minute, Toni Stühling reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dick van der Stoel. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 30th minute, Mijdrecht Maffia's Douwe van den Bergh dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After some careless play in the Fargo SC defense, Toni Stühling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dick van der Stoel. The Fargo SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dick van der Stoel should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toni Stühling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Schattenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Fargo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit van der Weerden came free, but Dick van der Stoel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fargo SC's Foeke Wilminck got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dick van der Stoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerrit van der Weerden in the 62nd minute of the match. 8-0 became the score in the 66th minute when Douwe van den Bergh elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 69th minute of the match Marick van Fessum shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dick van der Stoel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dick van der Stoel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Stühling, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Foeke Wilminck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Toni Stühling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dick van der Stoel was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Toni Stühling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. In the 94th minute, Toni Stühling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Toni Stühling made a precise shot to the right of Dick van der Stoel. Fargo SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Mijdrecht Maffia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
