In the 18th minute, Ivo Mastebroek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leendert Kremer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. FCF north were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Beetje Moe Re-United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pim Hendriks took the corner. In the 76th minute, Lex Brunt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCF north fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erben Eringa in the 81st minute of play forced Beetje Moe Re-United's goalkeeper Edwin Helwig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, one of Beetje Moe Re-United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Beetje Moe Re-United. In the 94th match minute, FCF north was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitchell van Boxel to maneuver through the defense. Leendert Kremer made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Alfred Nagel sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FCF north fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beetje Moe Re-United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
