Christijan Borgman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Harris Staarman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Klaas Ritsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Veenhuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Segundo in the 16th minute of play forced De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Vincent Wekenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harris Staarman in the 21st minute of play forced AC Pitt Bier's goalkeeper Fokke Veenhuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Pitt Bier's Fokke Veenhuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harris Staarman in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Vincent Wekenburg got control of the ball when Johan Segundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vincent Wekenburg made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Johan Segundo sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the game, Twan Lute cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Vincent Wekenburg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vincent Wekenburg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Twan Lute's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Vincent Wekenburg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wessel Adelaar. Harris Staarman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokke Veenhuis having to interfere. Fokke Veenhuis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harris Staarman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Klaas Ritsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Harris Staarman made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin van Putten in the 54th minute of play forced De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Vincent Wekenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Wekenburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Segundo in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, AC Pitt Bier's Johan Segundo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincent Wekenburg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johan Segundo succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Harris Staarman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokke Veenhuis having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Tonnie Vrede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johan Segundo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Wekenburg saved De Digitale Dribbelaars from getting behind. After 79 minutes of play, AC Pitt Bier's Johan Segundo made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincent Wekenburg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute, Johan Segundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincent Wekenburg was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. The supporters of AC Pitt Bier booed when De Digitale Dribbelaars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascall de Vries charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascall de Vries the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pascall de Vries hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 96th match minute, De Digitale Dribbelaars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonnie Vrede to maneuver through the defense. AC Pitt Bier's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
