ASC Amsterdam's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harris Staarman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Klaas Ritsma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hans-Cees Nagel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans-Cees Nagel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaas Ritsma in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaas Ritsma in the 21st minute of play forced ASC Amsterdam's goalkeeper Hans-Cees Nagel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes ASC Amsterdam got a freekick which was hit by Sjors Batum. Hans-Cees Nagel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harris Staarman in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Klaas Ritsma made a precise shot to the right of Hans-Cees Nagel. ASC Amsterdam's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Harris Staarman put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hans-Cees Nagel. After 37 minutes of play, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Klaas Ritsma made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hans-Cees Nagel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute Klaas Ritsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Cees Nagel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harris Staarman made a kick off. Lex Heikens hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Klaas Ritsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Cees Nagel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as De Digitale Dribbelaars's Klaas Ritsma slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hans-Cees Nagel. That made the score 0-7 after 66 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Wessel Wisgerhof managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters rose to their feet, but Wessel Wisgerhof was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans-Cees Nagel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, ASC Amsterdam's goalkeeper Hans-Cees Nagel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harris Staarman. Hans-Cees Nagel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harris Staarman in the 73rd minute. Hans-Cees Nagel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Foeke Palsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harris Staarman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 78th playminute. In the 81st minute, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Foeke Palsma ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hans-Cees Nagel. Hans-Cees Nagel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wessel Wisgerhof got free with Hans-Cees Nagel in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute Klaas Ritsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Cees Nagel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes ASC Amsterdam got a freekick which was hit by Sjors Batum. In the 96th minute Anton Wander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Wekenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
