De Digitale Dribbelaars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pieter-Jan Roeles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Pieter-Jan Roeles put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Vincent Wekenburg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pieter-Jan Roeles in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Wekenburg saved De Digitale Dribbelaars from getting behind. After some careless play in the De Digitale Dribbelaars defense, Twan Lute kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vincent Wekenburg. The De Digitale Dribbelaars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vincent Wekenburg should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's goal looked a bit too open when Pieter-Jan Roeles came free, but Vincent Wekenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Pieter-Jan Roeles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Digitale Dribbelaars's Vincent Wekenburg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vincent Wekenburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Twan Lute in the 34th minute of play. Vincent Wekenburg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pieter-Jan Roeles's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Wim Schoonbeek got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Pieter-Jan Roeles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Pieter-Jan Roeles put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Vincent Wekenburg. Pieter-Jan Roeles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fokke Veenhuis came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by De Digitale Dribbelaars's Wim Schoonbeek. But to his dismay, Wim Schoonbeek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 60th minute, Pascall de Vries got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 played minutes De Digitale Dribbelaars got a freekick which was hit by Rein Zeijlemaker. In the 68th minute, Klaas Rijkaard sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and De Digitale Dribbelaars's Vincent Wekenburg didn't even have to move. Vincent Wekenburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter-Jan Roeles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent Wekenburg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pieter-Jan Roeles's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Vincent Wekenburg didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AC Pitt Bier's Pieter-Jan Roeles shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-8 in the ordered_time% minute. 78 minutes into the game, AC Pitt Bier's Pieter-Jan Roeles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincent Wekenburg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. 82 minutes into the match, Pieter-Jan Roeles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vincent Wekenburg, 1-10. Vincent Wekenburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter-Jan Roeles in the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Pieter-Jan Roeles could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Vincent Wekenburg however easily saved by the left post. Wessel Wisgerhof kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pieter-Jan Roeles got free with Vincent Wekenburg in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of AC Pitt Bier booed when De Digitale Dribbelaars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Foeke Palsma didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Pitt Bier played a much better game than De Digitale Dribbelaars and deserved their victory. The De Digitale Dribbelaars players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
