Marick Wilson started the match with the kick off. Ferdi Carels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yorrick de Zeeuw in the 6th minute of play. Harm Oorthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Roetering in the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Henry Vennegoor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdi Carels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egbert Meulman in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goal looked a bit too open when Yorrick de Zeeuw came free, but Ferdi Carels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Thomas Geitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dukaton f.c.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MK Investments the free kick. After 20 played minutes Dukaton f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Geitz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karsten Fleur in the 24th minute of play forced Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Harm Oorthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goalkeeper Ferdi Carels had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egbert Meulman. Govert Drenth scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harm Oorthuis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd match minute, Dukaton f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giel van Baarle to maneuver through the defense. Marco Denneboom, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Dukaton f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Dukelskiy to maneuver through the defense. Harm Oorthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Denneboom in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Benjamin Spijker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harm Oorthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Govert Drenth was the one to do the kick off. Karsten Fleur succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 59th playminute. After 64 minutes, Marick Wilson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dukaton f.c. and the MK Investments players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Dukaton f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Marick Wilson. 72 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goal looked a bit too open when Egbert Meulman came free, but Ferdi Carels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Dukaton f.c.'s Yorrick de Zeeuw made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdi Carels was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Marick Wilson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over MK Investments could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dukaton f.c. throughout the match.
