In the 15thth minute of the game Izaak Pierewaaijer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dukaton f.c.'s Harm Oorthuis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Harm Oorthuis threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Izaak Pierewaaijer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Egbert Meulman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Arne Tellingen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronald Sleiffer charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronald Sleiffer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Ronald Sleiffer got a free kick in the 20th minute. Dukaton f.c.'s Harm Oorthuis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Dukaton f.c. from getting a goal against them. Egbert Meulman's late challenge caught a The Dalwhinnie Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egbert Meulman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of The Dalwhinnie Boys booed when Dukaton f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egbert Meulman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Ivo Lodewijks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harm Oorthuis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 30th minute of the match, Izaak Pierewaaijer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Harm Oorthuis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Harm Oorthuis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frits Schrage went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Izaak Pierewaaijer in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Harm Oorthuis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Harm Oorthuis was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Theo Smeekes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Theo Smeekes really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Izaak Pierewaaijer got free with Harm Oorthuis in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerwin Bogarde's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Harm Oorthuis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Harm Oorthuis came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by The Dalwhinnie Boys's Izaak Pierewaaijer. But to his dismay, Izaak Pierewaaijer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roderick Broos made a kick off. When Henk Ploeger fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Dalwhinnie Boys's protests and gave Henk Ploeger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Henk Ploeger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Egbert Meulman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Izaak Pierewaaijer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harm Oorthuis was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Ronald Sleiffer hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Frits Schrage hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dukaton f.c.'s zone, Ivo Lodewijks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harm Oorthuis came out of the goal and Ivo Lodewijks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harm Oorthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerwin Bogarde in the 70th minute of the match. Izaak Pierewaaijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Harm Oorthuis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harm Oorthuis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Izaak Pierewaaijer went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Dukaton f.c.'s Harm Oorthuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izaak Pierewaaijer in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Dukaton f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gerwin Bogarde came free, but Harm Oorthuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frits Schrage during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Frits Schrage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91stth minute of the game Izaak Pierewaaijer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dukaton f.c.'s Harm Oorthuis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Smeekes in the 98th minute of play forced Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Harm Oorthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harm Oorthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Smeekes in the 99th minute of the match. Harm Oorthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Lodewijks, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. The Dalwhinnie Boys had played much better football throughout.
