After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Adilson Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anderbye FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adilson Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Ulisses de Salles in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Anderbye FC's Horácio Linhares. Gil Seco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardinho Correia in the 21st minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Lino Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anderbye FC's Ulisses Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Ricardinho Correia took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gil Seco to make any attempt to save it. If Waldemar Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Horácio Linhares fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anderbye FC's protests and gave Horácio Linhares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Anderbye FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horácio Linhares to maneuver through the defense. 51 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anderbye FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AF CERRADO the free kick. After 51 played minutes Anderbye FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Correia. Pedro Cearense was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Correia notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of AF CERRADO's Gil Seco. Gil Seco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anderbye FC's attentive Adilson Proença managed to snatch the ball when Arnaldo Branco made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Ricardinho Correia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anderbye FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Lino Araújo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Ulisses Toledo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 77 played minutes Anderbye FC got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Linhares. A collision led to Anderbye FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bruno de Amaral hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the game, one of Anderbye FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ulisses Toledo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pedro Cearense. Ulisses Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Araújo in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Lino Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AF CERRADO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Anderbye FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while AF CERRADO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
