Gil Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magno Marinho during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Grêmio Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Zé Augusto de Mendonça's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Augusto de Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Grêmio Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto de Mendonça. Virgílio da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Matías Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldinho Cerezo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Senna to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Lima in the 58th minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Virgílio da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgílio da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Lima in the 67th minute of the match. If Matías Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magno Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Grêmio Bulls had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
