The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guto Lucas hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Zeca Velasco hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Luiz Eduardo Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Perez in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. Dorian Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonsinho de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raphael Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luan Pontes during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Luan Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Afonsinho de Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorian Catarinense skillfully saved the ball. In the 35th match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Lúcio Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Zeca Velasco got in the 39th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Dorian Catarinense and thus it was 1-1. Mauro Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Microsoft Team's Lúcio Arce got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Grêmio Prudente getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Virgílio Vinhas hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albertinho Perez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dorian Catarinense came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Prudente's Guto Lucas. But to his dismay, Guto Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho da Silva in the 57th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luan Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Lucas came free, but Dorian Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Raphael Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Microsoft Team's protests and gave Raphael Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Microsoft Team getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Raphael Pinheiro hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Mattos came free, but Dorian Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Albertinho Perez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorian Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Lúcio Arce lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 85 minutes into the game, one of Microsoft Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 92nd minute Mauro Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorian Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grêmio Prudente walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
