When TAQUARI FC's Bruninho Silva in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Templários MZC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Templários MZC's Denílson Sampaio got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 42nd minute, Felipe Queiroz made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Gustavo Eger. Templários MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jânio de Barros to make the kick off. Templários MZC were furious when Chico Salles was red carded, 67 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, TAQUARI FC's Felipe Munhoz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luiz Gustavo Eger. 74 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Loyola came free, but Sílvio Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruninho Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Luiz Gustavo Eger made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, TAQUARI FC's Felipe Queiroz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Gustavo Eger. Luiz Gustavo Eger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Germano Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Gustavo Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Couto in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Jânio de Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Templários MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TAQUARI FC the free kick. After 96 played minutes Templários MZC got a freekick which was hit by Jânio de Barros. After 97 played minutes, TAQUARI FC's Felipe Munhoz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Eger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TAQUARI FC reached it. TAQUARI FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
