An unexpectedly hard shot by David Freitas in the 18th minute of play forced SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Nildo Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nildo Messias came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by TAQUARI FC's David Freitas. But to his dismay, David Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 22nd minute, Felipe Queiroz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TAQUARI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After some careless play in the SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ defense, David Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nildo Messias. The SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nildo Messias should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Saldanha hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, David Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nildo Messias. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

In the 51st minute Felipe Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nildo Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Felipe Queiroz lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Nildo Messias. Tiaguinho Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, TAQUARI FC's Felipe Queiroz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nildo Messias. Nildo Messias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Saldanha in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, TAQUARI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Arósio to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Arósio came free, but Nildo Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes TAQUARI FC got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Leão. Luís Ferreira took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Zonta. Sílvio Zonta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. A hard shot by Felipe Munhoz from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Nildo Messias's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Nildo Messias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. When the match was over TAQUARI FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ throughout the match.
