Humberto Xavier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marco Leite hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Humberto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Hoffmann in the 14th minute of play. Elder Lago made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Fiori Souto sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the game, Wágner Chaves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elder Lago. Wágner Chaves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Marco Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Brasilino booed when Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Frank Senna notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Elder Lago. Elder Lago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Brasilino booed when Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Senna got free with Elder Lago in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrique Araújo's late challenge caught a Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Araújo helped the player get up and apologised. Enrique Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Frank Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brasilino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- the free kick. A collision led to Brasilino getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Frank Senna hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Gil Hoffmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Xavier skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Humberto Xavier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualter Queirós in the 53rd minute. In the 53rd match minute, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Gil Hoffmann hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Frank Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê de Moraes came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elder Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fiori Souto in the 64th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Queirós. Elder Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Frank Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Teixeira in the 68th minute of play forced Brasilino's goalkeeper Humberto Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fiori Souto struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Elder Lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brasilino. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Elder Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Souto in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Wágner Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- booed when Brasilino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Queirós. In the 86th match minute, Brasilino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Senna to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Xavier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidnei Teixeira in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Chaves in the 95th minute of play forced Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Elder Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brasilino fans cheered their team off the field, for while Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
