In the 13th minute Cipriano Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Costa came free, but Tomé Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Agua Santa's Laércio Neves in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 33 played minutes Calopsita EC got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Costa. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Laércio Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agua Santa's supporters rose to their feet, but Laércio Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Luiz Damião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christiano Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Calopsita EC's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Pinho came free, but Sílvio Luiz Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Pinho to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Cipriano Pinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Luiz Damião. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luiz Damião prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inácio Trancoso charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inácio Trancoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Agua Santa booed when Calopsita EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sílvio Luiz Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Calopsita EC's Maurinho Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomé Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomé Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oswaldo Figueiredo in the 79th minute. The referee gave Agua Santa a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Téo Tróia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Calopsita EC's Sílvio Luiz Damião. 3-1. After 91 played minutes Agua Santa got a freekick which was hit by Nico Quintal. In the 94th minute, Rômulo Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Agua Santa had played much better football throughout.
