A collision led to Brasilino getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Claudinei Leal hit a great ball. The supporters of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- booed when Brasilino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Sidnei Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Wágner Chaves made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme Duarte. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Frank Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Guilherme Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilherme Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Chaves in the 23rd minute of play. Wágner Chaves scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guilherme Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Lago in the 30th minute of play forced Brasilino's goalkeeper Humberto Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Pedro Paulo Furlan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 40 played minutes Gil Hoffmann rounded Brasilino's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Paulo Furlan was the one to do the kick off. Sidnei Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Xavier having to interfere. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Pedro Paulo Furlan sped through Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guilherme Duarte. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Guilherme Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Senna in the 82nd minute of play. Guilherme Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Humberto Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 86 played minutes Brasilino got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Leal. In the 86th minute of the match Zézinho de Salles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Xavier skillfully saved the ball. Humberto Xavier came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Sidnei Teixeira. But to his dismay, Sidnei Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. In the 97thth minute of the game Wágner Chaves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Guilherme Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brasilino had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
