In the 12th minute, Oséas Leme made a precise shot to the right of Willian de Alcântara. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 15 minutes of play, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Germano Romero made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almir Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Agnaldo Diniz made a precise shot to the right of Almir Carneiro. Floresta Negra FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 23 minutes, Anselmo Recife mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA and the Floresta Negra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Anselmo Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Orlando Cosme fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floresta Negra FC's protests and gave Orlando Cosme a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA booed when Floresta Negra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Germano Romero managed to work through Floresta Negra FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Germano Romero dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Germano Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Carneiro having to interfere. Willian de Alcântara came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Negra FC's Oséas Leme. But to his dismay, Oséas Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Germano Romero put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Almir Carneiro. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Anselmo Recife got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute Germano Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Almir Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Romero in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Diniz came free, but Almir Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almir Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agnaldo Diniz's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Agnaldo Diniz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Almir Carneiro. That made the score 2-5 in the 68 minute of play. Almir Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael de Lara in the 81st minute. Ismael de Lara was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Almir Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Romero in the 90th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, one of Floresta Negra FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA. Germano Romero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Almir Carneiro. 2-7. When the match was over THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Floresta Negra FC throughout the match.
