After some careless play in the New Miran FC defense, Joélson Donatello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moisés Paraíba. The New Miran FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moisés Paraíba should have stopped the shot. Hermínio Damião charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermínio Damião the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hermínio Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, New Miran FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joélson Donatello came free, but Moisés Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ivo Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, José Carlos Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Falcão Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Cesinha Mazza got a free kick in the 34th minute. Moisés Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 45th minute, Joélson Donatello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

Moisés Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Lúcio Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Miran FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. New Miran FC's Moisés Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Nóbrega in the 72nd minute of play. Moisés Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joélson Donatello in the 75th minute. A collision led to New Miran FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Artur Mineiro hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Joélson Donatello notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of New Miran FC's Moisés Paraíba. Moisés Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 85 minutes, Falcão Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joélson Donatello got free with Moisés Paraíba in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joélson Donatello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Moisés Paraíba made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Rio Verde F.C CIMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than New Miran FC.
