In the 22nd minute, Álvaro Netto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Augusto Sá in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Renato Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Renato Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Atlético Minuano defense, Álvaro Netto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Renato Velloso. The Atlético Minuano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Renato Velloso should have stopped the shot. After 29 played minutes Atlético Minuano got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Fernandes. In the 35th minute Nicolas Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Nicolas Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Paulo Renato Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Guimarães in the 42nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dedê Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Renato Velloso was a little too slow when João Augusto Sá got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-8. Jairo Vasconcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino de Andrade having to make a save. Luís Rodrigues hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Paulo Renato Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Sá in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Nicolas Andrade dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Paulo Renato Velloso came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Nicolas Andrade. But to his dismay, Nicolas Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Álvaro Netto struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Paulo Renato Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER. Mauro Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Velloso having to interfere. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's João Augusto Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. Jairo Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute João Augusto Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Minuano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Mauro Guimarães scored to the left of an out of position Paulo Renato Velloso, making the score, 0-11. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
