After 11 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Tepedino. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Raúl Maia hit a great ball. With a little luck, eFlems's Breno de Azevedo got control of the ball when Cristian Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Duarte's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Breno de Azevedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Mesquita during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute, Oscar Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute of the match Reynaldo Tepedino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Breno de Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Breno de Azevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Morro Grande E.C's Cristian Duarte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of eFlems booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Rubens Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Silva in the 40th minute of play. When Raúl Maia fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morro Grande E.C's protests and gave Raúl Maia a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Maia. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arthur Maia to strike the kick off in the second half. Willian Loyola was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matías Silveira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 52 minute of play. Breno de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Morro Grande E.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reynaldo Tepedino in the 58th minute. After taking down the ball on Morro Grande E.C's corner Reynaldo Tepedino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Breno de Azevedo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 68th minute, Cristian Duarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Breno de Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Breno de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Mello in the 74th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by César Vinhas. The referee felt a red card was in order, 84 minutes into the game, when Leonardo Reis put in a rough tackle. In the 83rd minute, one of eFlems:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for eFlems. Breno de Azevedo had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Reynaldo Tepedino's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Breno de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Tepedino went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Breno de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Duarte's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
