In the 11th minute, Belmiro Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Fluminense di Parma's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Magalhães came free, but Ramiro de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Dantas got his second yellow card in the match during the 21st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
