An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Negri in the 41st minute of play forced Felizberto EC's goalkeeper Jean Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ibirama Futebol Clube booed when Felizberto EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Ibirama Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Felizberto EC.
